Poco M5 vs Poco X3 Pro, differences, comparison and which one is better

The Poco X3 NFC is arguably a better-balanced phone than the X3 Pro, and as such it ranks among the best cheap phones. Camera quality counts for a lot, but this is yet another demonstration of the sheer value you get with a Poco-series Android. The Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro has a much better processor than the Poco X3 NFC. This has to be one of the very best Fortnite/CoD/Insert Game Here phones you can get at the price. The POCO X3 Pro is a lot of things, but it’s not an all-rounder.

poco x3 pro pros and cons

POCO X4 Pro, on the other hand, comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with 1080×2400 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sensitivity. The arrival of this generation with an AMOLED panel is a very important development for users who consume content, play games and do many other things on their devices. Blacks look like real blacks, and you’ll see your battery life increase. POCO X4 Pro can reach a very high brightness value of 1200 nits and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. If we have to pick a winner in terms of displays, the POCO X4 Pro comes with a much improved, prettier display than the previous generation POCO X3 Pro.

  • Xiaomi is a brand known for offering smartphones stock firmware file at extremely competitive prices.
  • While there might be some cost savings on Xiaomi’s end by switching to the much more common 48MP shooter, it doesn’t make a huge difference in the end results.
  • The 240Hz touch sampling does its job in making FPS games more responsive, and the impactful speakers definitely add a layer of immersion.
  • There’s a 3.5mm headphone jack and an IR blaster to control appliances.
  • MIUI still isn’t perfect, and it has its issues on the POCO X3 NFC just like it did on the Xiaomi Mi 11.
  • Unfortunately for Poco fans, the X3 Pro is an amalgamation of all these issues.

Just like the Poco X3 NFC, it has a 5160mAh lithium battery. Even with a more powerful processor, its stamina remains impressive. Although it doesn’t have the perfect contrast, we found raised blacks not too obvious even in very dark rooms. Its fast-responding pixels will make more of the 120Hz refresh speed.

The Poco X3 Pro is also surprisingly capable in low light situations as it offers a night mode too. The secondary 8 MP ultrawide sensor is also good for the occasional wide shots you might need it for. The Poco X3 Pro promises flagship-grade performance at a competitive price. While it largely delivers on that claim by packing in Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 860 chip, its sustained performance (or lack of it) leaves a lot to be desired. The phone’s LCD screen is no match for OLED panels found on competing handsets, and the 120 Hz refresh rate implementation is a bit buggy. Another let-down is Poco’s lack of regard for ergonomics as well as aesthetics. As much I’m delighted to see a high-end processor at this price point, I can’t help but notice that the rest of the phone doesn’t match.

And switching between 60Hz and 120Hz, an option here, shows there’s a real boost to Android menu scrolling at the higher refresh rate. Other notable features include an IR blaster at the top, as is the case with most Xiaomi phones. Along the bottom edge is a USB-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, as well as stereo speakers. They aren’t the loudest I’ve come across either but they’ll suffice in a pinch.
